Removing Resident From Nursing Home

If your loved one in a nursing home has been seriously injured by a fall or nursing home neglect / abuse, you should look at removing them from the nursing home and transfer them to another nursing home or even bring them home.

Also, if you feel the conditions are poor at the facility such as bad smells and overly understaffed with little attention to your loved one, you should consider removing your loved one from the nursing home.

If you are going to pursue legal action against the nursing home where the fall or neglect/abuse happened, it is important you remove the resident before you take legal action. Unfortunately, many nursing home staff members will treat the resident badly if a lawsuit has been filed.
